3 Questions About Whey Protein Powder?
Hello,
I just recently started using GNC's 100% Whey Protein powder, to build some muscle. I hold 3 questions about this product.
*Firstly, does Whey Protein powder mete out you to gain weight? Because I have be using the product for about 2 weeks or so and I have gain 2 kilograms ever since.
*Second, how long does it take to see some results? I mean, how long will it transport before I can see some noticable difference in relation to muscles and body build...?
*Last, but not lowest possible, I have the chocolate flavored whey protein powder, it says on the instructions to mix it near water. Is it alright if i mix it with non-fat milk instead? (It doesn't drink like much with dampen, with the milk its much better!)
Let me know.
Answers:
first off yes you can mix the powder with other things, within water its just plain gross.
it doesn't do you to gain weight.
to see results its completely based on you, how much you work out.
the whey protein powder will not build muscle on its own Source(s): lots of protein shakes
i use alike protein powder and i mix it with milk, i usually also put it in the blender and incorporate a bananna also so ya it doesnt matter. and yes of course it make you gain weight, if you gain 2 kilograms that means you building muscle. and final it all depends on your body and how hard and normally you workout. it took me about 2 months to start seeing visible results, but you should see acting out results every week(you should gradually increase in how much you can lift). and to see really accurate results it took me 6 month.
1) Protein is a fuel just resembling carbs and if your taking extra protein then you will be taking in extra calories too.
2) It depends on your body but 6 - 8 weeks you should become aware of a difference.
3) Adding milk will add to the calorie content of the drink, and non-fat milk is full of empty calories (no nutritional value)
Remember that taking anymore than 30g of protein contained by one go is a waste of time.
