About taking whey protein powder?
is it ok to take whey protein powder at breakfast everyday? how many times should i help yourself to it? i work out for about 2-3 times a week... so is it ok to take it even i dont budge for a workout?
Answers:
If you are working out 2-3 times per week you might not even need to be taking extra protein - you should be getting enough within your diet.
I would suggest substituting your protein drink for your lunch rather than your breakfast. Your body needs the fuel rash in the morning. You could also try the protein around 7pm at night because protein keep you feeling full longer than carbs so you won't do any late hours of darkness snacking.
For breakfast, normal food is ALWAYS (yes, caps) better than the shake.
Try having oats (not instant, but rolled or preferable steel cut) next to a bit of milk and sweetener. Nice amount of protein and excellent source of fiber.
Drink a shake after working out to give your body the nutrients it needs to rest faster, as whey is digested rather fast.
