Should I bear protein powder or muscle milk?

I'm 5'11 and weigh 169 lbs. I started working out a few weeks ago about 3-5 times a week. I want to get toned and a moment or two bit more muscular and weigh about 180-190. Should I take a protein powder shake mix or muscle milk? I also work out everyday at around 10 pm so when should I drink the stuff? thankks.

It's a great protein I myself use it, and for best results lug it if possible right after your work out or at least inwardly 1 hour after. Source(s): experience.
Dude a lot of the protein powders out there are no correct for you. You need Whey protein and you need to stick beside a strict diet to have muscle gains.

You also hold to be in touch with your muscles mentally or you will merely be wasting your time. The mental approach is very important as your mind and body will produce chemicals needed to gain muscle and mass.

You own to be very focused during your reps, visualize what your muscles are doing with respectively rep. It might sound funny but you have to be extremely focused for better gain.

i would pick up the money and instead of gaining more weight i would by close to shaving cream and a razor and shave my ugly asss obverse if i were you
O.K!You should drink Protein Powder!My dad takes Protein Powder and works out,and eats thriving so you can do whatever you want but I say Protein Powder and a couple things my dad does that you can try!
If you are trying to donate pure muscle mass, then either will work for you as it is total caloric consumption that is to say important. MM uses medium-chain triglycerides which has shown greater fat-burning potential within certain studies, but nothing conclusive have been proven. Some of my clients have used MM surrounded by the past and have shown positive results, but I hold other clients who only utilize protein and have have success as well. The big put somebody through the mill comes to money...MM is expensive, but a potent egg or whey protein is about half as expensive.

As far as timing is concerned, you want to consume the protein mix or MM as soon as possible after you finish working out. You hold a window of about 30-45 minutes where on earth your body is at a peak level for nutrient digestion, specifically carbohydrates for energy restoration and protein for tissue repair.
